Tragic Holiday
We love Billie Holiday for so many reasons, don't we? Her voice was beautiful and piercing in a time that didn't have much patience for black women. She held herself so strong despite such a tumultuous childhood. It wasn't until the end of her life that the true Tragedy of Billie Holiday began to emerge once again.
